Conclusioni su presente e futuro

Le protesi totali di polso, le protesi della testa dell’ulna e le soluzioni custom-made del semilunare costituiscono un continuum terapeutico che consente di trattare efficacemente la maggior parte delle patologie degenerative e post-traumatiche del polso.

Il futuro della chirurgia protesica sarà dominato dalla personalizzazione, dall’impiego di materiali bioattivi e dalla pianificazione chirurgica assistita da intelligenza artificiale.

La protesi del polso, da soluzione di nicchia, è oggi una realtà clinica consolidata che richiede esperienza chirurgica, precisione tecnica e visione multidisciplinare.
